Split wire-mesh packing is a high-efficiency contacting device for mass-transfer columns, providing a large number of theoretical separation stages. This wire-mesh packing (BX and CY types) is used in processes requiring maximum efficiency and precise separation of components at low liquid loads.
Split BX packing has been successfully used in industry for more than 50 years, enabling complex separation tasks to be solved. Largest diameter currently available: 6 m.
CY-type metal wire-mesh packing was developed for separation processes requiring a large number of theoretical separation stages. Largest diameter currently available: 1.8 m.
Urgent diagnostics and replacement of the corrosion-damaged internals of the Kt-200 formaldehyde water concentration column in Shop No. 1806 of the IM Plant are required.
