30 years
Spliteks is the direct and sole successor to Sulzer Chemtech LLC and has fully retained all the knowledge, expertise, experience, personnel, customer relationships, calculation and design resources, and manufacturing capabilities accumulated during Sulzer’s operations in Russia since 1990. Sulzer Chemtech LLC, which until 2023 was a 100% subsidiary of the Swiss Sulzer AG Group, changed its name and continued operations as Spliteks LLC.

Spliteks LLC is the company that, until October 2023, was named Sulzer Chemtech LLC and was a 100% subsidiary of the Swiss Sulzer AG Group until Sulzer left Russia in 2023.
Spliteks has fully retained all the knowledge, expertise, experience, personnel, customer relationships, calculation and design resources, manufacturing capabilities and technologies created by Sulzer during its operations in Russia. Our manufacturing facility in Serpukhov, Moscow Region, is equipped with modern machinery.
Drawing on advanced engineering developments and proven design methods, Spliteks offers customers integrated solutions and service meeting international standards.
The main selection criteria include the following:
- Process-medium characteristics: viscosity, density and corrosiveness of components.
- Required separation efficiency: number of theoretical stages or height equivalent to a theoretical plate (HETP), required degree of separation and packing height.
- Hydraulic loads: liquid and gas flow rates and flow velocities.
- Operating conditions: pressure, temperature, possible fouling and impurities.
Our experts select the optimum option (tray or packed internals) after a thorough analysis of the parameters provided by the customer.
- Reduced process efficiency: insufficient phase separation and deterioration of final-product quality.
- Hydrodynamic problems: column flooding, tray flooding and non-uniform flow distribution.
- Accelerated equipment wear: increased corrosion and erosion due to high flow velocities and intense turbulence.
Our work is based on proven standard designs, but we always adapt solutions to each specific situation:
- we take account of the specifics of the particular process;
- we develop the solution to match the geometric dimensions of the customer’s column;
- we select optimum materials of construction (stainless steels, special alloys, protective coatings, etc.).
- For standard systems, inspection and cleaning are recommended once every 1–2 years.
- If the process medium is aggressive, the interval is shortened—regular monitoring of anti-corrosion coatings and sealing elements and timely replacement of worn components are required.
At the customer’s request, we can provide individual maintenance recommendations for a specific product.
