SplitPlate packed-type coalescer

The SplitPlate-M plate coalescer is designed to separate water-oil mixtures.

The main operating element of the device is a pack of parallel curved plates. The plates substantially reduce the droplet settling distance.

With correct sizing of the plate pack, the flow between the plates remains laminar.

How it works:

The flow passes between the inclined plates → small oil droplets coalesce into larger droplets → the larger droplets rise and are retained in the upper part of the separator → only purified water flows downwards.

The device is installed through a manway. Estimated installation time is no more than 2 days. Each plate block is made in a demountable design for convenient maintenance in the event of fouling—everything can be easily dismantled and cleaned with a high-pressure washer.
