Thanks to its original improved geometry, compared with conventional SplitPak structured packing, the pressure drop is significantly reduced and maximum capacity can be increased by 25–30%.
The close similarity between SplitPak Plus and SplitPak packing enables successful use of a range of well-known and reliable column internals. The internals help accommodate the increased gas load corresponding to the potential capacity of SplitPak Plus.
